Today’s Big Data use cases range way beyond the realm of writing simple MapReduce programs. Working in the field with customers as a Solutions Architect I have came across applications ranging from standard data warehouse offload through machine learning to stream processing and free text search. This talk discusses a handful of these use cases focusing on architecture, pitfalls and lessons learned.

Balassi Márton is a Solution Architect at Cloudera. He focuses on Big Data application development, especially in the streaming and data science space.
